Grace is a beautiful brown ring neck dove. Grace was hatched in 2009 and lived in one loving home her whole life. Her owner moved into a senior community and could not take her. She is a sweet, quiet bird who was kept in her cage. However, she was kept in the living area and received attention from her previous family. She is a calm bird who does not mind it when you change out her cups or stick your hand in her cage. 

Grace has been stretching her wings figuratively and literally. She has been flying to the cages of other birds in the room to hang out with them. She also spends a lot of time sitting at the entrance of her cage. She is  a graceful flyer. Grace had a crop infection and had to take antibiotics. She is well now and is cooing and laughing. She has laid two eggs, but fortunately is not showing any interest in them. 

Grace would be a wonderful first bird in a home with a young child who could handle her when supervised. Grace would love to be in a home with other small birds to socialize with. Is Grace the perfect bird for your family? She is being fostered in Hightstown, NJ.
