A true "fancy cat" with her white handlebar mustache and tuxedo, Fiona is ready to shower you with affection with friendly head nudges and snuggles for daaaaaays.  She's curious but doesn’t knock things off of shelves, and doesn’t scratch furniture, so your nice things will stay that way.  She will talk to you and keep you entertained with her playfulness.  Her favorite place will be snuggled up next to you, so if you're looking for a warm bed and couch buddy, this is the girl for you! She loves her soft fur to be petted and will reward you with lots of purring.  If you don’t like a lot of cat fur, look no further, as she is a light shedder and hasn’t had a hairball the entire time she’s been fostered.  Even if she doesn’t need it that often, she still likes to be brushed and doesn't mind any other grooming.  Fiona will sit on the window sill and birdwatch and even enjoys watching vidoes online and on tv.  She's good with both women and men, other cats, cat-friendly dogs, fish in aquariums, and even small children.  She can be shy at first greet, but warms up quickly--probably because she wants to get to the cuddles. In fact, she was snuggled up in bed within the first hour of being at her new foster home. This sweetie doesn't have a mean bone in her body (Fiona has never swatted at or tried to bite anyone, even when she got a bath), and sometimes you wonder if she has any bones at all when she flops on you.  She likes attention and company so if you’re looking for a more independent/aloof cat she wouldn’t be a great fit, although she is fine with staying alone in a room with the door shut when needed.  She’d love to be with at least two people or with another pet, but she would do well in most homes since she’s easy and well-mannered.
