Jabber is a loving, highly intelligent cat who adores his people. He has a great ability to read the moods and needs of those around him and respond accordingly, whether his companions are human or feline. Jabber is fine with other cats, but not a fan of dogs so far (although his exposure has been limited). 

 

He came from a tough life outside and truly appreciates the loving care of humans. Jabber has some scars on his ears which make him a bit more endearing, but he is a wonderfully gentle soul. He loves to listen to you talk and gives little mrrrrs back. He always greets you at the door when you arrive home, and loves to follow you around and supervise your activities.

 

Jabber loves puzzle toys, conversations, and snuggling next to you on the sofa or bed. He just wants to be around you! He also enjoys his food, but is very healthy and muscular. Jabber can run fast and play hard, too, and is still quite young. When he hasn’t had attention for a while, he might gently bite to remind you he is there. He sometimes does the same when he is overstimulated and needs to be left alone. As such, he is probably best in a home without young children. 

 

Jabber would do fine as the only animal or with other cats.

 

He is SUCH a great companion! We have NO idea why this amazing boy has been with us for over a year, but he has gotten to know many of our volunteers and become a favorite. After living in several adoption centers and a few foster homes, he is ready for his big break!
