Name: Daisy
Gender: Female
DOB: August 2017
Description: Gray and White
DAISY is a mix of super sweet, social, loving, extremely playful, and very intelligent. She is not currently paired up with another kitty so she must be adopted into a home with another young cat or cats.
Daisy gets along with other cats and even dogs! Her foster home currently has an adult cat and two SPCA teenage kitties (Charlie and Chester). There is a large cat-friendly dog and two children in the home so she has been exposed to everything! Daisy is a very independent girl, she enjoys pouncing on her foster brother Chester when he leasts expects it, wrestles with him and then runs off to do it again later!
Daisy enjoys being part of the kitty pack, but when it comes to down time she likes to be on her own. She eats with her furry family and plays, but doesn't snuggle with them. She follows her foster human family around to see what they've doing and likes to hop in the shower after you're done.
Daisy doesn't mind being picked up or carried around but she's not a lap kitten - she's too busy playing and exploring. She's her own 'kitty' and likes it that way. She's fun to watch and makes everyone smile and laugh...over and over again!
Daisy is truly lucky to be alive. She was found - literally - in the middle of Route 66 when she was a tiny kitten weighing only one pound. A kind person managed to stop and scoop Daisy up, frozen in fear, from the middle of the road. We don't know how she got there - maybe she had crawled up inside someone's car and fell out? Or somehow her mom cat had her hidden nearby and she wandered onto the busy road?
