TESS & TARA are wonderful young ladies who are used to getting lots of love from their foster parents. They are good buddies who are not siblings but have bonded in their foster home. They need to be adopted as a pair.

TESS is a petite tortoiseshell with super soft fur and a baby face. She is very affectionate and loves people. Tess enjoys being really close to you - nuzzling to be petted and sleeping under the covers with you or next to another kitty at night. She loves cuddling with people and other kitties. She has an adorable, tiny mew and likes to talk to you when she wants your attention. Tess is also curious and at ease exploring and meeting new people. She has a medium energy level when playing, and is good at entertaining herself with her little pompoms and catnip squirrel. Tess is a true Torti though and is persisent with getting your attention when she wants it. She enjoys playing chase with her buddy Tara and the other adult cats in her foster home.

TARA is a sweet gray tuxedo kitty who has the sleekest and softest fur. She loves being petted and scratched all over and adores being picked up by her foster mom. Tara has an instant soft purr and a small, chirpy voice but is not as vocal as her buddy Tess. Tara is a friendly girl who is affectionate, but also independent. As Tara continues to become comfortable in her home she is becoming a lap kitty like her buddy, Tess. She likes to sleep beside you at night. She's a smart kitty and a quick learner who responds to your voice with a soft meow. Tara is good at entertaining herself with Easter eggs, wand toys and laser pointers and is good at sharing her toys with other cats. She likes playing with Tess and the other cats in her foster home.

Tess and Tara are used to a quiet home with adults and several other cats. They have not been exposed to dogs or children. They need a quiet to moderately active forever home with no babies or young children down the road. They would do great in an adult only home or a home with quiet, older kids. They would also love another friendly cat or two in their home since Tara is bigger and a bit more rambunctious than Tess.

These girls came into our care after being rescued outdoors separately as young kittens. They will make wonderful companions for someone who has room in their heart and home for them.
