Zeus-at-a-glance: 9 year old, male, neutered, Cane Corso, 105 lbs., up-to-date on core vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. Zeus takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. 

Zeus had a family that had to move without him and were devastated to leave him behind at the shelter.  Lovepaws couldn't bear the thought of Zeus spending Thanksgiving alone in a noisy and overcrowded shelter so we sprung him the day before the holiday.   Zeus is looking for a quiet home without a lot of hustle and bustle where he can live out his golden years on a soft bed in front of a warm fire (aren't we all?) He's being fostered with a 15 year old female dog that is not very snuggly with people or other animals, but she adores her foster brother Zeus and they can be found touching each other while sleeping in the same bed together. Zeus also lives with a cat in his foster home that wants to be friends with him, but he's not sure what to think of her. He loves scritches and pets so much that he'll stand beside his foster mom while she's on the computer working and nearly falls asleep standing up while she pets him and runs the back scratcher up and down his back. We think senior dogs rock and have a lot of love and joy to bring to their adoptive families.
