Iris is a quirky petite girl looking for her forever home. The first thing you’ll notice about her is she wobbles! Iris has cerebellar hypoplasia; a non-progressive brain condition that results in wobbliness.

Iris likes playing, climbing, and food. She does not like being held, loud noises, or sudden movements. She gets along with other cats (given a proper introduction of course). She loves to jump and play; when she gets the zoomies, she throws herself from one side of the room to the other! She would do best with humans who work from home, or with another young cat friend. Because of her physical challenges, she would do best in a single-story house, or with a family that spends most of their time on a single floor. She also gets around better on carpet than hardwood or tile.

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
