*CeCe is considered special needs because she has litterbox issues and is urgent because she has been at the shelter for over 1 year.*

*Cece is one of our 12 Most Urgent of 2012, so you can name your own adoption fee to take her home!*

Meet CeCe, the queen of the adoption center! This regal lady loves to walk around wherever she pleases, supervising the other cats. She's a dilute calico cat around 2-4 years old who was surrendered to the shelter by her owners. She's now looking for a permanent home!

This beautiful girl is extremely affectionate, so make sure you have time for a demanding cat! She will always let you know when she's looking for attention. Because of CeCe's feisty play style, she'd do best in a home without small children. According to her former owners, she responds well to water bottle training. CeCe has a long, beautiful coat that should be brushed every other day to prevent matting. She is not thrilled with having other cats around but will ignore them as long as they ignore her. CeCe needs a home without dogs - they terrify her! This gorgeous, sweet lady is waiting at the shelter for you to adopt her!

PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization. PAWS pulls at-risk animals from the City of Philadelphias animal control shelter and adopts them out, either from our adoption center (located at 2nd and Arch Streets), from one of our adoption locations at area PETCO and PetSmart stores, or from our network of foster homes.

PAWS is dedicated to saving the lives of Philadelphias homeless, abandoned and unwanted animals and is working to make Philadelphia a city in which every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.

When you adopt a pet from PAWS you truly save a life!

PAWS' Adoption Center in Old City is open Monday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please reference this animal's ID NUMBER when inquiring about this pet.

All animals adopted from PAWS are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. Adoption fees are as follows: $75 for dogs older than 1 year, $110 for puppies under 1 year, $50 for cats over 6 months of age, and $75 for cats under 6 months of age.

Please visit our web site, www.phillypaws.org, for our full calendar of adoption events throughout the region, and for more information on adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.
