**Taji is urgent because he is diabetic and has been looking for a home for over 8 months.**

Hi my name is Taji. I am 5-6 years old and am lucky to still be alive.  I was found on the streets of Philadelphia in very bad shape and taken to the animal control shelter.  At the shelter I was rescued by the people at PAWS. They took me to the doctor and got me the medicine I needed. The doctor said I am a diabetic and that I have to take a shot every morning with my breakfast, but I don't really mind since I'm feeling so much better.  My medicine and food are not expensive. My favorite thing to eat is canned Friskies. I am very affectionate and love to snuggle once I get to know you. Since people were so mean to me in the past I can be shy at first. It takes me some time to get used to new people and animals, but I really want someone to love me and take me home so I can love them too.
