Cole

Cole is a young man that is looking for someone to match his love for all things. This guy loves to play, and he is always up for an adventure. Do you want a running partner? He’s your man. Hiking? He’s ready. A quick walk around the neighborhood? Let’s do it.

Cole is more of a medium-high energy dog but he has an off button. As long as he gets to run off some energy, he is good to go. This guy will patrol your back yard and chase off any deer intruders. He will also trot along beside you as you get in your daily steps. He has great leash manners. Do you work from home? He makes a great office assistant. Has bed, will hunker down.

His ideal home would be active one and hopefully have a playmate for him. He is both dog and cat friendly. He also loves to be near his people. He knows the routine though – conference calls mean chew toy and crate. He’s a smart dog with some working breeds in him. He learned sit in one day and the next we taught him shake. If you ever wanted to dabble in agility or some dog sport, he would be a great candidate. 

This guy loves a good chew toy. He loves to test out Nylabones and Kongs. He’s also the perfect size to be a travel companion. He hops in the car and loves to put his head on your shoulder as you drive. Off leash? He has a great recall. He really wants to please and will turn himself inside out for a treat.

The good – food motivated, dog friendly, cat friendly, people friendly, very trainable, and an overall good boy.

The needs some work – he is still young and may make a mistake or two, but he is easily corrected.

Cole will make a great addition to most families. He’s been so patient at the adoption events and loves meeting new people, especially if they have treats in hand.
