Foster Home Feedback

July 6th: Olivia has been in our home for 2 months and we are completely loving this old lady! She is super sweet and easy to care for. An occasional walk is all she really wants, she's not into running. Except for a couple small tiffs with my 3 large-breed dogs (and this was over high value treats), we have never seen anything at all aggressive in her nature, with dogs or humans. She loves to be with her people, cuddling on the couch or snoozing by the bed. The only issue with her is thunderstorms. The lightening and thunder scare her; these storms will cause her to bark and get very nervous. However, we have learned how to help her; a Thundershirt helps along with having the tv on to drown out the thunder and blocking the windows so she can't see the lightening. High value treats help, too, to really distract her.

Olivia is an absolutely wonderful dog with a great deal of love to give any family!!

March 7th: Hi, there! I'm a sweet, mature lady looking for a companion to wine and dine me (OK, "moistened kibble and soft food" me), take long walks with me, and who is willing to cuddle with me. I can be a bit sassy and have been known to crawl onto the lap of whomever will pay me attention, so no jealous potential owners apply please!

Even though I'm a bit older, I still love playing in the snow and jump like a dog half my age when I get excited. I get along great with all people and dogs, and cats are of great interest to me. I again feel half my age when I see one, and chasing them under the bed has been great fun. I don't think I would hurt one but my current foster mom is taking no chances and has kept us separated, as the cats don't seem nearly as intrigued with me as I do with them. Their loss, as I'm a great old gal who just wants to find my forever true home that deserves me!
