Electra is currently with a rescue in AL and they are having a hard time finding her a good home. If you would like to foster or adopt her, please let us know and we will have her brought right up!

In case this is helpful, here is some info from someone familiar with GSDs who came evaluated Electra:

Very insecure girl. If taken out of her kennel she seems to initially be
ok but if you get anywhere close to the kennel when walking her,  she
jumps and bucks trying to get back in there and crying the whole time as
if she is being hurt (not used to a leash). Its obviously her safe
place. She is still a big leaner and if you kneel down to her level she
will lay down at your feet. 
She is definitely a sweet dog just very insecure/scared. She seems to
have no issues with other dogs as they brought one of theirs out with
her (they never had before) and she was fine--sniff and walk away. 

Elelctra is a sweet, beautiful German Shepherd with fear issues. She must not have been treated well in the past. She has a loving spirit but will need time and patience to bring her out into the light. She is about 3-4 years old and has a moderate energy level. She really latches on to people when she trusts them, and she yearns to be loved. She wants to reach out but is just too afraid. Surely there is someone out there who will give her a loving home where she can learn how to love and be loved without fear. Please help Electra. All she wants more than anything is to feel safe and loved.
