Harvey wants to be your boy...won't you adopt him today?

September 27th: I took Harvey out for some exercise, and I know he will be a really great dog for someone. Although he was very excited when he first saw me, he calmed down as soon as we got outside. I expected a young dog like him to be full of energy, but he was very laid back. He had no interest in pulling ahead of me. He sat and lied down when I told him. He would be able to learn "stay" very easily. He wants to bite on the leash every now and then but he respects a firm "No!" All he wants is to make people happy. He loves attention, and he's a sweet, goofy pup! We saw some other dogs, and he showed a normal interest in them. He was also interested in the cats we saw. I think Harvey would be very easy to train, and I think he would do well in a home with other animals. It would be good for him to be around an adult dog that could teach him the ropes.

September 5th: Who, me? You want to know more about me? I'm Harvey! I'm a lovable, goofy young lab mix. This lady that walks me says I might be mixed with a German Shepard because my undercoat has some white and brown tones it. Whatever I'm mixed with, I'd say I'm one handsome guy! I'm still act like a puppy sometimes and like to put things in my mouth like my leash, or people's hands, but I make sure it doesn't hurt them, I just want to play! I always stop when someone tells me "no," I hate to make people mad at me. Have I told you I like kids? Today, I went to a park and a little boy there played with me, and pet me, and even sat on me! I didn't care, I was just happy to have some attention. I like to take walks too, and if someone shows me how, I won't pull. I'm not sure how I to act around other dogs sometimes, but I just need someone to show me how to act. Plus, the lady that walks me says when I get "neutered" that should help me with other dogs, whatever that means! Please take me home with you, I just want a person that will give me love, toys and lots of belly rubs!
