Bones is such a sweetheart!  He has been a little scared with all of these moves going on but warms up quickly.  He needs someone to make sure he is never alone and abandoned again!

Foster Home Feedback

3/15/13:  Bones is such a good boy! He has been at our house for a little over a month. He no longer shows any signs of food aggression. At first he had a minor problem with other dogs and food. He now is able to take treats with my other two dogs around and eats in the same room and same time as my two dogs. He has never shown signs of food agression with people. He will let you touch him and touch his food and take the food away with no problems. He LOVES to run and play outside and is very good about staying near you. he does like to chew on his toys and play fetch. He has not chewed on other things that he is not supposed to. He does great in his kennel for about 9 hours a day. He never messes in his kennel or the house. He is absolutley wonderful with my two year old son. My son can run around the room like a crazy kid and Bones has no issue with it. My son also will take his toys and touch his feet and mouth and Bones is perfect. Bones would do great in a family with kids and smaller dogs. He is good with my dogs and even when my dog snaps at him Bones never reacts. Bones is really looking for somewhere he can call his forever home and a family he can call his own. Please consider making Bones part of your family, he wont let you down.

2/6/13: Bones is an AWESOME dog. I am personally suprised how he has not found his forever home yet. He gets along with my two small dogs. The one of which can be a real jerk and will snip at bones and he totally ignores him. He has also done well with all three of my parents dogs and my in-laws two dogs when we visited them. He is a puppy and likes to play with toys but has not chewed on stuff he is not supposed to. He is potty trained and does great with going in the kennel during the day. Bones does have a little food agression. He did snap at my dog when he was eating and my dog tried to walk towards him. He did not have any issue with me putting my hand into his bowl while he was eating. He also has no issue with the water bowl area and where my dogs eat or being around the table while we are eating people food. I feed Bones in his kennel and my dogs inside and when everyone is done Bones comes back inside with no issues. He is a big sweetie and loves to give kisses. Bones would be a great dog for anyone. He does good around my 2 year old son and we have had no issues with that. He would do great with another dog to play with. He loves to play with other dogs and run!

1/2/12:  Bones will chase all the clouds away and bring endless sunshine and happiness to your life. He needed a quick refresher course in potty training when he first got here and now sits at the door when he has to go out. Bones is very responsive and quickly figures out what you are asking of him. He is smart and funny and playful and goofy. Bones loves to go for walks or any other fun outside activity you can think of. He also loves to chase after balls but isn't super interested in bringing them back to you. After his mini play sessions, Bones loves nothing more than a nap in the sunshine, preferably with his head resting on your lap. He kennels well but does get a little sick during car rides. Bones plays well with my female pit bull mix and is respectful of my senior lab. If you are ready for fun, excitement and loads of affection, look no further, Bones is your guy!
