My name is Thomas O'Malley (the alley cat). I've been living mostly outside for the last few weeks and man it has been cold out. I'm super friendly and like to run up to people purring extra loudly in hopes of getting some love and attention. Recently, one of the friends I met this way decided to take me in off the street, since my owners moved away and forgot about me. She put a flea collar on me and even gave me a bath.  I didn't particularly enjoy the bath but I sat through it like a champ, barely even trying to escape the water. Unfortunately she already has a cat, who doesn't like me very much (even though I have been nothing but friendly towards her). I think the human wants to add something here...

Hello reader! Thomas is an adorable love machine, he purrs and lays on his back and is overall one of the sweetest cats out there. As he's been living outside for awhile he may need some time to adjust to an indoors lifestyle, but he is very lovable and already figured out how to use the litter box!  I haven't yet seen him interact with any dogs or young children, but he is an extremely chill cat - my own little monster follows him around hissing and growling and he just completely ignores her silly antics.  I've given him a bath, brushed and brushed and brushed his coat, and trimmed his nails and he has never once tried to bite or scratch me.  He occasionally likes to talk, but I think part of that is reacting to my own cat's behavior or possibly wanting to go outside.  I think Thomas would make a great cat for anyone who loves a friendly kitty who likes to curl up on your lap purring away.

All cats are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
