From the Foster: Juniper is a total sweetheart! She has obviously been loved by
someone before, warms up quickly to new people, and is great with both
cats and other dogs. She loves to be pet, loves getting treats, and
really just likes to be close to her humans. Juniper kennels nicely,
but doesn't love it and does well when left out to roam (or fall
asleep in the middle of the living room floor). She's learning more
commands and is very good at basics like sit and lay down. She enjoys
being outside, so a fenced in yard would be great! She could sit and
watch the birds all day if she wanted! (or run in circles for
sometimes no apparent reason other than pure joy!)
Juniper is still a young dog and does have a lot of energy but being
allowed to run now and then (in a yard or dog park) lets her the
energy off. She does really well on a leash as long as a no pull
harness is also part of the equation. She loves to play tug and chase
with her foster sister Elsa. Juniper even lets Elsa take a bone out of
her mouth without snapping at all. It's a fun game to try to sneak it
back! Juniper likes to watch the cats play and tries to join in, but
backs off when they make it known that she's not a part of the game.
Oh! Give this dog a kiddie pool and water running out of a hose and
she is as happy as can be!
Juniper would be a wonderful addition to your family! She's smart,
loving, and well behaved. Won't you give her a chance to find a
