At his foster home, Cisco is a curious, playful boy. He loves to chase wand toys or a laser dot, especially through a tunnel. (His tunnel will definitely need to go with him!) Cisco loves the top of a cat tree and cuddling with catnip toys. Cisco is curious about other cats but never relaxes unless alone with his foster humans. They think he needs to be your one-and-only.

    Things Cisco requests:
    - Put a cat bed on top of a dresser for him.  He likes to see all of his domain.
    - A tunnel to prove how lightning fast he can teleport.
    - A human bed big enough for Cisco to cuddle, and stretch out.
    - Elevated food bowls.  This guy ate like a Tasmanian devil until he was provided with a more civilized eating height.  Now he has proper table manners.
    - Windows. He likes to sit on a sill and silently judge passersby. If there's a chair nearby, he prefers to do his judging while reclined.
    - To be your favorite and only pet. He's adorable. Why would you need anyone else?
    - A human who already speaks Cat. He's a really good communicator if you know how to listen. He's used to getting by on his good looks. He needs a parent who can reward his good behavior and ignore him if he's acting spoiled.
    - Wand toys. And more wand toys. Anything to interact with you.  On his own he's lazy.
    - Routine.  He's used to 2 hand-served meals a day and nightly TV-time cuddles. If you deny him this, prepare to feel guilty.  When he's bummed, he pulls the Puss In Boots look. It's heartbreaking. Save yourself the guilty pangs and just be his BFF.

Cisco has classic insecurity. When someone new walks in, Cisco is scared; but when you sit on the floor and wait for him to approach he eventually climbs in your lap or leans against you. He’s been in a foster home for over a year learning that humans can be nice. The most rewarding moment for his foster parents was when he finally snuggled against them! He now waits at his bed every night for his cuddle time! He’s much more trusting and now Cisco is practicing being picked up. Getting him into a carrier is up to a 50/50 success rate! He’s always well behaved at the vet.

He so clearly wants to love - and be loved.  He needs a patient, experienced cat person to help him adapt to a new space and learn to trust another human. His fosters have their own pets so Cisco must stay in his bedroom. He's calm and confident in his own room, so in his forever home he should do great. Are you the BFF Cisco has been looking for? Will you open your heart to a sweet (and very handsome!) fellow who needs you to love him?
