Meet Sandy. This sweet girl was rescued from a life on a chain by a good Samaritan in rural SC. She has very little chance of finding a home in SC and so Worthy Dog would love to help her find a forever family. In order for Worthy Dog to rescue her, we need a foster or adopter willing to take her in. If you are able to help, please do apply.
Sandy is gentle, polite, and is more laid-back, but at the same time can be very playful. She's described as medium energy with a great personality. She is great with other dogs and loves to play with her pup buddies in the yard. She shares well with others, is a sweet, low-maintenance pup who is easy to manage. She's great with kids, and will make an excellent family dog.
Foster Mom Update - 7/13/19
Sandy serves as a "cheerleader" dog at her foster mom's house. Her cheerful, playful personality encourages all other dogs to become her friend. Sandy is a low-rider full-figured girl at 45-50 lbs. She is 2-3 years old and HW negative. She would love a home with another canine friend, and cats are ok too! Sandy loves to play with other dogs, and she plays gently and politely. She is great with shy dogs; she helps them gain confidence. Sandy is housebroken, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She is very polite, never barking and sleeping soundly in her crate after playtime with her friends. She loves people and greets everyone with a smile and a hug
Please do apply today to foster or adopt Sandy. She's hoping for a miracle and you can help make that wish come true.

You can also help save dogs like this one by becoming a foster, providing a rescue dog with a temporary home and giving them the love and care they need until they are permanently adopted. Every person who fosters is directly responsible for saving the life of a dog, because we can only save as many dogs as we have foster families available to welcome them into their homes. If you think you might be interested in becoming a foster and want to learn more, please go to http://foster.worthydog.org and fill out an application.
