Meet Abby.  This gorgeous girl recently arrived in a severely overcrowded shelter in a rural part of SC.  She was picked up by animal control as a stray.   Worthy Dog would love to help her find a forever family.  In order to do so, we need a foster or adopter willing to take her in.  If you are able to help, please do apply. 

Abby is currently living in a foster home in rural SC while her shelter recovers from the hurricane. She is described as very sweet and well-balanced. Her foster has this to say about her: 

Housetrained? Yes....runs to door to go out

Crate trained? Yes...excellent in crate

Leash walking skills? Pulls a bit due to excitement 

Energy level of pet? Spurts of energy.  Loves to be a lap dog. 

Personality of pet. Social.  Friendly. Affectionate. Playful. Interactive. Cuddly. Happy to hang near you. Well mannered. Smart

Activity Level - Best suited in a quiet home, or moderate activity home...seems like she could easily adapt to either.

 Ready to go and do. Doesn't mind car rides. Open to go and to and explore. Good choice for walking down a Main Street 

If your foster interacted with other dogs in your home how did that go? No issues.

Abby is very sweet and loves attention. She sits on command and offers her paw. She enjoys tug.of war with toys. 

 

FOSTER UPDATE - 10/27/18

Abby arrived in N. VA on 10/27 and is being fostered in a DC rowhouse with another dog. She was understandably she her first day, but took a nice, walk around the city with her new foster pack and is starting to adapt to her new environment. Most to come on this adorable, sweet up as she settles in.
