Andy is a sweet, playful, self-petting, hunk of love. He is friendly and outgoing and is constantly rubbing against you to pet himself. Andy is not much of a lap cat, but definitely wants to be near you. At night, he is happiest when he can sleep on top of you. If you don’t want him there, he will gladly retire to his cat bed at the foot of the bed. Andy loves to spend most of the day sitting in the window watching the birds and squirrels. He loves to chase string and feather toys and runs, jumps and growls at his prey. He can play all day long. 

Andy was rescued as a stray with a huge wound that wrapped from the back of his neck to his chin. After 2 months of intensive, inpatient care at a vet and another month of twice daily treatments at a foster home, his wound has finally healed. His fur will likely not grow back but Andy is confident you will be able to look past the little hairless patch and see his truly beautiful face and personality. 

Andy should be fine with others cats who don't feel the need to try to snuggle or play with him. Andy has briefly met dogs and hissed at them. He probably would be best in a home without dogs but with a proper introduction could probably be okay. Andy should be fine with older children. He sometimes nips when he no longer wants to be petted. 

Andy was born approximately Jan 2014. He is on a canned prescription diet to prevent urine crystals. He is neutered, current on vaccines, micro chipped, and tested negative for Feline Leukemia.
