Hello, my name is Bella. I am a torti. I was rescued on February 11 from a neighbor’s backyard. The vet thought I was about 6 months old at that time. My rescuer had been trying to trap me for a few months but I was scared. I am a bit timid because I was on my own for so many months. But, I will cuddle with you and give you kisses if you are patient and gentle with me. I like to sit on my rescuer’s stomach and purr and kneed my paws. However, I have also found my playful side and I now like to play with yarn balls. I bat them with my paws all over my rescuer’s bedroom. I will chirp when I am happy. I also like to play hide and seek and I run under the bed. I would prefer a quieter home with no dogs - they are scary! 

Please note that it is Fancy Cats’ policy that kittens have an age-appropriate playmate in the home. We also do not adopt kittens to families with children under six years old without seeing appropriate history/experience with cats.

My rescuer had been trying to trap me for a few months but I was scared.  I  jumped from yard to yard and hid. I also don’t like wet food so this made it challenging. I am a bit timid because I was on my own for so many months. But, I will cuddle with you and give you kisses if you are patient and gentle with me. I like to sit on my rescuer’s stomach and purr and kneed my paws. However, I have also found my playful side and I now like to play with yarn balls. I bat them with my paws all over my rescuer’s bedroom. I also like to play hide and seek and I run under the bed.

I am litter trained and have had no accidents since living in a home. I tend to scatter the litter onto the floor  as I cover my deposits . Please forgive me as I sometimes also miss the pan and deliver my stool onto the outside of the pan. Working on my aim. I am still little and learning and I don’t’ like a lot of clumps in my litter.

I eat dry food only. I like the Iams kitten food (purple bag). My rescuer tried 4 different types of wet food and I did not eat these. I know some people think I should eat wet food but I just don’t like it. I also like fresh water. This is good for me. I am spayed and have my shots. I don’t mind having my nails trimmed, having done this 2x already. The vet who saw me in February thought I was around 6 months old. That would make me 7-8 months old now.

I don’t like loud noises. I don’t like dogs. I don’t know what they really are, just that they scare me. I don’t like a lot of activity. A quiet home would be nice without small children running around please. I don’t’ know if I like other cats. My half sibling was trapped the end of September so I have not been around other kittens. I have been around other outdoor cats but I don’t know if I like this. I am not a big talker. I won’t meow a lot. I will chirp when I am happy. I will hide when I am scared.
