We received a rescue plea for a petrified little 8 month old girl that came into our local shelter as a stray. She was so scared she had become a statue when people would approach and tried to make herself as invisible as possible into the walls. The touch of a human set of tremors and shaking that broke our hearts. After spending a few minutes with her we knew she needed to get out of that environment. We will never know what she has been through to cause so much fear of humans but we a re determined to show her how much she is loved and forever safe. We have named her Clover and she is now safe in our foster home where she is slowly learning to trust. She is still fearful and hides in her crate but with a lot of patience and tlc, she will be bouncing around in no time. Clover seems to find comfort in the company of other friendly dogs so a social and confident dog would be great for her.
