Proof was found as a stray and taken to the shelter in SC with multiple wounds on his body as well as a prolapsed rectum. He was in a lot of pain and could barely stand or sit. We immediately took him into rescue and got him the medical care he needed. The doctors said he had prolapsed at least 5 or more days prior which makes surgery a little more complicated. After 3 attempts we are hopeful this last surgery will hold so Proof can finally have some relief. His body is covered with many old wounds which tells us this little 30 lbs boy has been through a lot in his 2-3 years of life. Even though he has suffered so much, he remains a lover giving everyone he meets non stop kisses. He seems to do well with other dogs that he has met so far and is good with little kids too.
