Comments: Orla is a happy girl and in love with life.  She can be a little standoffish at first with those she does not know, but she soon warms up and loves some scritches.  She is eager to please and loves company.  She loves to play with toys.  Orla is happy to lounge with you or be out on an adventure.  She will need a home without cats.  Orla broke a leg racing, but it healed really well and it certainly does not slow her down.  Orla loves her walks with our volunteers.  She does fine out and about with other larger sized dogs, but will likely do best in a home as an only dog, and without young children, as she tends to fixate on toys.  Our trainers are working with Orla and she is making good progress in learning to drop it and distract from things she wants. While Orla is technically old enough to be in an apartment/condo/townhome, it would have to be an active one and one without a lot of other dogs (particularly smaller ones) in the complex.  Otherwise, a home with a securely fenced yard would be preferable for this fun, happy girl. Orla came to us from Ireland.
