**  Update 2/4/24- Roman is now 7 months old and has been with our rescue since he was 3 months old. His foster has had time to get to know his disposition and can testify that Roman loves all people, including children, and other dogs.  He is a very happy boy and enjoys playing with his canine foster siblings as well as just lounging around and snuggling with his humans. Roman would make an amazing addition to any family. Did we also mention how handsome he has become?! He is also crate and house trained!

Roman came to us as a 3 month old pitbull mix who ended up at an overcrowded shelter in Prince George's County as a stray. An overcrowded shelter with an existing outdated breed specific legislation against pitbulls? The odds were against him. We had an amazing foster step up for him and were able to bring him into safety where he will be loved and waiting for his furever family to find him! He would love a home with a family who will have the time and patience to train him like every puppy needs. He is still very young and working on his house training, crate training, as well as basic puppy manners.
