Hi - I’m Cameron! I am playful, loyal and ready to find my new home. I have lots of energy and would love to have a family who will give me lots of playtime and toys to chase. It takes me some time to get used to other animals and people, but once I do, I will not be happy unless we are together. I love other cats and want to cuddle with them, and I get along with mellow dogs with a proper introduction. I will meet you at the door when you come home and call for you if we are separated by a closed door or gate. When you’re resting, I will cuddle up in your lap, behind your legs, or beside you. I love to give love, but I don’t like to be petted. Please offer me your finger so that I can sniff you, and if I’m comfortable, I will give you a rub or even ask to be picked up. I am pretty patient with little humans, but I would be best with an older kid who can read my cues and respect my limits when it comes to being touched. Watch my tail and ears for signs that I need a break. I will still love you - I just have limits! I want to be the boss in my new space, so I would love to live in a home without many rules. I even love to supervise dinner preparation to ensure I am getting the amount I deserve! My dream home will let me roam wherever I want, explore different heights and spaces, eat and drink unlimitedly, play until I’m panting, get attention on my terms, and keep things pretty predictable.
