Our little Isabelle is one of the most gentle and unassuming cats you'll ever meet. Her brown tabby coat is super soft and she looks like a miniature lioness with her golden eyes and snub nose. She came to us as a stray who'd just had kittens. Though she spent her whole life roaming outside and scrounging for food on the streets, she has adapted very well to living in a home with adults, younger children and other pets. She is still quite shy with new people and tends to hide under a table or bed where she can watch them until she determines they're safe. Once she gets to know you, she likes to greet you with tiny mews and gentle head butts when you enter the room. She loves being petted from head to toe, and especially enjoys cheek rubs and tail root scratches. She'll flop over on her side to let you pet her while she kneads contentedly with her tiny white front paws. Sometimes she can get overstimulated and will lean over to give you a soft nip when she's ready to take a break from petting, but she has never bitten or scratched anyone under any circumstances. She has excellent litterbox manners, and gets along well with adults, calm children, other cats and cat-friendly dogs. She would be fine as an only cat, also.
