Sweet Agatha was found at the river and brought to the shelter as a stray. She was by herself, but she has recently had puppies. She is somewhat aloof and distracted, and acts as if she is searching for something when she is in the yard. Perhaps she is searching for her puppies. Agatha is a very sweet girl with a patient, gentle temperament, and she is very affectionate. She does sometimes seem to have a sad countenance, and I'm sure she would have made a great mother for her puppies, just as I'm even more certain that she will be a wonderfully gentle, loving, and loyal pet and companion for her new family. Agatha will be held at the shelter until her stray hold expires unless she is reclaimed first. Assuming she will not be reclaimed, she will be made available for adoption.
