Boba is a black male domestic shorthair born approximately around April 30th, 2017. He was rescued as part of a trap and neuter program in Davis’ West Village apartments with his younger brothers Latte and Juice and younger sister Pepsi. Boba loves to cuddle, purr, drool, and chat. He is very social with other cats but tends to take a week or two to get used to animals he hasn’t met before. He must be adopted with his sister Pepsi! He is a great big brother and looks out for her.

Notable features: Boba is very vocal and loves to tell you how he’s feeling. He has a beautiful meow and loud, deep purr. He also makes frequent chirps and squeaks. He shows no sign of growing into his ears which give him the appearance of a little fruit bat!

Special Skills: Boba is a drooly boy and loves to make soft blankets and sweaters soggy. He comes with his favorite blanket because I cannot bear to separate him and his favorite drool napkin.

Favorite toy: His blue mouse, well, what’s left of it. This also comes with Boba. He has loved it to death as it has no stuffing, ears, eyes, or tail left. He will also chase the laser pointer until he can no longer move he’s so tired.

Favorite activities: Drooling and kneading on a blankie, meowing, and running around with our cat and his sister Pepsi.

    Favorite sleeping spot: His blankie!

Fun fact: Boba will likely be a big kitty. At just 8 months, he is 13lbs and cats grow until at least 1 year old! He also has a beautiful wild face that makes him look like a jaguar.

Thank you for your interest. If you have questions, you may contact our Feline Coordinator by emailing cats@yolospca.org.

If you are interested in adopting, please follow the instructions below to expedite your application:

    1. Please complete the online adoption application

    2. Please specify which animal you are requesting on the application by noting the "NAME" of the animal and the Internal ID.

    3. The completed application will be sent directly to the Adoption coordinators for review.

    4. We will email or call you if we need more information. Since we get many applications and are volunteers, we may not contact you immediately.  You may email cats@yolospca.org if you have additional questions.

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have are Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $90 (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All of our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email cats@yolospca.org. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.

We are still accepting applications on this animal; we do remove the pets from our site once they are adopted.
