A Little Bit About Me

Horse is like a frat party gone wild. We hope once he is neutered some of this enthusiasm and energy will lessen. He was found wandering the streets of Marin by a concerned citizen who brought him to our shelter in search of a better life. 

Only active families who have had prior canine experience need apply. He is not a couch potato and requires a great deal of exercise. This bundle of joy has been horsing around for most of his youth and it is time he hit the books. 

His new household should have someone home most of the time and sturdy older children since he is extremely strong and pulls on leash. Our behavior and training team will answer any questions you might have during your pre-adopt consultation. We strongly suggest you provide him with a consistent daily routine that includes, at least two long walks, training sessions and teaching him to fetch. Remember, "a tired dog is a happy dog". Horse really is a lovable young man who wants to love and be loved.
