Meet Penny! 

She's sweet, affectionate, playful, and ready to spend her golden years in your arms! She loves hugs, gentle pats, and even some good forehead kisses. Penny even shows off a little half smile when she is nervous or excited! 

Penny has had positive experiences with both cats and dogs and would likely do well in a home with a few furry companions to spend her time with. She can take a little time to trust new dogs but after she has settled in she is very passive. Penny shows off her gentle side when children are around and would likely make an amazing family dog! 

Unfortunately, Penny's prior owner passed away. She came back to us very overweight and needs an adopter who is willing to keep her on her diet and give her plenty of walks to get her down to a healthy weight. Penny is slowly getting back to a healthy weight and is starting to show off her playful side a little more! She loves playing fetch, running around her yard, and even enjoys going on jogs! We think once she is at a healthy weight she will be a fairly active dog and need some space to run and play!
