Meet Blitzen! Blitzen and his siblings were rescued a few days before Christmas 2018. See their rescue story here. He was the goofy one of the bunch and volunteers quickly fell in love with his sweet personality. When the group went in for their wellness exams, it was discovered that Blitzen had cecum dysfunction disorder. All of his siblings found their Forever Homes, but because of his special needs, Blitzen was overlooked.

Several months later, it was discovered that in addition to cecum dysfunction disorder, Blitzen also has a mass in his chest. Due to these issues, Blitzen's lifespan will likely be shorter than most rabbits. However, this doesn't stop him from loving life. Blitzen is so excited for just about anything... attention, breakfast, dinner, playtime, and a new litter box. He would be a wonderful bunny for someone who is looking to provide a rescue animal with the chance to live out their days in a happy and loving home. Sanctuary rescue can be a quite rewarding experience and OHRR will continue to offer help along the way.
