A Little Bit About Me

 

Meet Bella, a sweet-natured senior cat, who is looking for a quiet home with adults of any age. Bella has spent much of her life with access to the outside. Given her age as well as her white face (a risk for skin cancer from exposure to the sun), she needs to make the change to living exclusively indoors. A tall cat tree, a bookcase or shelf near a sunny window will be a good alternative and allow Bella to safely view activities outside. A bird or squirrel feeder would be an added enrichment.

 

Initially a bit shy, Bella warms up quickly, soliciting attention with gentle head bunts and soft "quacks." Once she feels at ease, she enjoys playing with wand teaser toys, loves to be petted, and confidently explores her surroundings.

 

Bella has not lived with children in her previous home, but might enjoy the companionship of teens who can treat her with respect. At this point in her life, Bella would undoubtedly prefer to be the sole object of your attention and affections.

 

Adopting an older cat is an honor, but we think you're worthy of the task.
