Bella (AKA Boots) is a black tuxedo, short hair kitty, with beautiful bright eyes. She was born around August 2017. Bella and her littermates were rescued from a trash can when they were young and placed into foster care. Bella is very sweet and gentle. She seems to want human companionship – she’s just still too shy to ask for it. She does relax with a deep ear rub, and curls up with her human at night. She also likes being talked to, and will stretch out on her side and purr when getting a back scratch. Bella hasn’t quite figured out cat toys - she likes watching her humans play with them though! Bella likes to observe the world from a safe space, so will do best in a quieter household with patient humans who can give her lots of attention and help her to continue to come out of her shell. Bella really likes her six month old foster sister, so a friendly cat or kitten buddy in Bella’s forever home would be a great benefit for her. Bella is quiet, eats and drinks well and is very tidy in her litter box. She is really a model housemate!

If you are interested in adopting, please follow the instructions below to expedite your application:
    1. Fill out an online application available through our website (www.yolospca.org) or through this link: Online cat application form
    2. Please specify which animal you are requesting on the application by noting the "NAME" of the animal and the Internal ID.
    3. We will email or call you if we need more information; since we get many applications and are volunteers, we may not contact you immediately.  You may email yolospcafoster@gmail.com if you have additional questions.

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have are Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $90 for kittens or $60 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All of our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email yolospcafoster@gmail.com. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.

We are still accepting applications on this animal; we do remove the pets from our site once they are adopted.
