Calling all velvet hippo fans, meet April!

We can’t even start to say how much we love this girl and her darling smile. April never lets a day go by without bringing a smile to everyone around her, and with her darling personality she has become quite the heartthrob. This gracefully aged gal would be the perfect addition to just about any home and she does great with both other dogs and kitties. In fact, she helps teach the foster kittens she lives with just how great dogs can be.

April is a great mellow walker and makes sure to always smell the flowers and say hi to everyone she meets. She also never turns down an opportunity to roll around in the grass, and it’s pretty darn impossible not to crack a smile when she does. She is the perfect stay at home buddy and is happy to rest by your side for naps, sunbathing, or enjoying a good book. April would be a great companion for a retired owner looking for an easygoing pup to always be by their side.

April is already house-trained, although being an older gal, she requires a few more potty breaks a day. She has fabulous house manners and is perfectly fine hanging out on her bed while she waits for you to come home.

April is such a special girl that truly deserves her happy ending. If you think she’s your perfect match, please fill out an online application at http://bit.ly/1PIWjIA .

The adoption fee is $150 (which covers all of these costs) for all dogs and puppies. We also have special discounted adoption fees for Chihuahua mixes, at $100 for Chihuahua mix puppies and $50 for Chihuahua mix adults.
