Now that awesome and hard working mom Blossom has completed nursing her last litter of kittens forever, she is ready for some me time!

Me time for Blossom involves lots of cuddle time, preferably on a lap where she will stay happily for hours. She adores having her head scratched and will turn her head and push into your hand with some much enthusiasm that she sometime falls on her side!

While she was nursing her babies in her foster home, she was a very protective mama and did not like any of the family's dogs to be anywhere close to her babies. She would reach her paws under the door to bat them away.  She *might* get along with other kittens and cats but while she was nursing her babies, she did not appreciate any other feline or canine friends--which may change as her babies are growing up and being adopted.

Blossom is a 1 year old DSH female spayed gorgeous tortie, WITHOUT any "torti-tude". She is sweet and is a model patient with the vet. She recently was spayed at UC Davis and her foster family was told that she was an outstanding and well behaved patient.

Blossom would do best in a family that enjoys spending time with a friendly and outgoing kitty, who loves attention and laps.

If you are interested in adopting, please follow the instructions below to expedite your application:
    1. Fill out an online application available through our website (www.yolospca.org) or through this link: Online cat application form
    2. Please specify which animal you are requesting on the application by noting the "NAME" of the animal and the Internal ID.
    3. We will email or call you if we need more information; since we get many applications and are volunteers, we may not contact you immediately.  You may email yolospcafoster@gmail.com if you have additional questions.

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have are Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $90 for kittens or $60 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All of our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email yolospcafoster@gmail.com. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.

We are still accepting applications on this animal; we do remove the pets from our site once they are adopted.
