Meet Fabs. This energetic Chihuahua mix is about one-year old. She weighs about 7 pounds.  Fabs is so cute when she walks upright on 2 legs. She happily jumps into laps and onto beds. Fabs is eager to cuddle and kiss. She loves being in a lap or in a safe place like a bed or crate. She is quiet and comfortable (and adorable) riding in a Paris Hilton type bag. Fabs adores the dog in her foster home and looks to that dog for leadership. According to her foster home, Fabs is a very good girl, and pretty easy. Her initial behavior suggests Fabs may have been treated roughly in the past-she approaches with the army crawl. But with love and attention she is gaining confidence. Now she enthusiastically greets her foster caregivers when they get home. Fabs is still hesitant when someone grabs for her, but she can be coaxed with treats, and she is anxious when left all alone (without a dog pal). Fabs is learning new skills, like waking well on a leash, but she does wriggle out of her harness, so you have to be careful walking her. Fabs is a good eater and has been doing pretty well with her potty training. Now Fabs needs a forever loving home that will continue to help her gain confidence and become her best happy self.
