Belle is a female domestic shorthair black and white tuxedo,  who was born approximately October of 2017. She was living in a parking lot, with her kittens stashed behind the dumpster. The whole family thought coming inside where it’s safe was a pretty good idea, so they were all rescued. Belle was an excellent mother.  Her kittens have all been adopted, and her turn has finally come to choose her permanent human family.

Belle has good self esteem. She is cautious at first, but she thinks that’s just good manners. She has been great with the other adult cats in her foster home. She gives them their space, but wants to be a part of the family.

Belle is comical and curious. She explores all the high places and all the low ones. She can be playful. String toys the human controls are her favorite toys. She also likes tiny felt mice that she can toss high.

Belle is very in tune with her foster parent, and loves to be petted and talked to. She’s more of a next-to-the-lap cat, rather than a lap cat, though.

She’s a very sweet, intelligent, loving girl who’d be a great companion.

If you are interested in adopting, please follow the instructions below to expedite your application:
    1. Fill out an online application available through our website (www.yolospca.org) or through this link: Online cat application form
    2. Please specify which animal you are requesting on the application by noting the "NAME" of the animal and the Internal ID.
    3. We will email or call you if we need more information; since we get many applications and are volunteers, we may not contact you immediately.  You may email yolospcafoster@gmail.com if you have additional questions.

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have are Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $90 for kittens or $60 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All of our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email yolospcafoster@gmail.com. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.

We are still accepting applications on this animal; we do remove the pets from our site once they are adopted.
