Meet Cooper 5-7 years old, 7lbs

Cooper is an owner surrender from the High Desert. His owner was unable to care for him any longer with his heart condition and trachea cough. The heat in the high desert also made it extra hard for him.

Cooper is the most loveable little guy who loves to cuddle and be petted. He’s not much for your lap; he would rather lay beside you and let you give him tummy rubs. He is potty trained to go in the house on potty pads or outside. He loves other dogs, children and basically anyone who will give him attention. He is on meds for his heart and cough and is managing well on these. He walks beautiful on a leash but needs short periods of exercise with rest periods. He is not a barker even for attention. He will just sit and stare at you and you will get the message. Is he a GREAT companion or what?
