Harper is a smart, silly, curious 11 month old puppy! We think she's a Formosan Mountain Dog (but that's not a breed available in the dropdown menu lol so whippet/border collie is the next closest guess in regard to her size (35lb), look, temperament). She is gorgeous, with a shiny brindle coat, a white stripe down her chest and white toes, and one floppy ear. Harper is adorably uncoordinated and still flops around like a puppy even though she is full grown. She is super smart and learns quickly since she is very food motivated - she learned sit, leave it, and stay each in under an hour! Harper is super happy all the time, always with a huge smile on her face, and always excited about her surroundings. She may be a little cautious with new people and places (flattens on the ground like a pancake or backs away from petting) but is not reactive at all. She is still learning about the world and needs someone with the experience, time, and patience to teach her good habits. She is crate trained but may cry when left alone, she just needs to be reassured that her forever home won't leave her. She tries to play with cats, and may not be a good fit for a home with cats that are easily bothered by a puppy. She is good with other dogs, but is still learning to respect their space instead of barging into their area. Harper would do fine as an only pet. She is very intelligent and responsive, and communicates with you through sounds and barks. If you are looking for a bright and happy young dog to bond and train with, Harper is your girl !
