Meet Lady! She is one of our mill dogs we pulled back in January and now that she has completed her heartworm treatment, is FINALLY ready for her forever home! She is a sweet mellow mannered girl a little on the small side just under 20lbs. She wants to be loved and will walk up to your hand for a gentle pet. Her likes are soft couches, any ball she doesn’t have to share and a good antler to chew on occasion. Ideal evening would be to Netflix and chill on a couch while you order take out. She is a little older so she doesn’t have all the spunk and destructive habits as a two year old, but she will pounce with happiness when she sees you fill her bowl of kibble in the morning. She walks well on a leash, is not possessive of food or toys although she will try to hide them and has seemingly unending patience for my younger dog and gives her warnings when she is too rambunctious. Not necessarily a dog park dog - other dogs that are too eager frighten her though she will assuredly let both of you know.

 

She will require a home that is strict about no people food and keeping to a fairly strict routine so she continues her progress on house training. She is still gaining some forgotten strength in her legs, but loves going on hikes outside.
