Nova, a pretty female terrier mix who was brought to the shelter as a stray. This sweet girl tried her best to gather up enough courage to come to me to be petted, but she was just too frightened to come all the way to me. She really acts like she wants to be loved, but fear and distrust prevent her from getting close enough. Nova is a sweetheart who needs someone who will treat her with love and compassion and a lot of patience and understanding in order for her to overcome her fears. Since she was brought to us as a stray, there is a chance that she will be reclaimed by her owner, but if she isn't she will be made available for adoption.
