Hi my name is Athena, I’m known for being super cuddly and giving kisses! My foster Mom says I am very intelligent, almost to a fault, in that I learn very quickly but I am pretty stubborn and am not easily fooled (like when foster Mom acts like she has a treat in her hand but really doesn’t). My favorite activities include wiggling my butt when foster mom comes home from work, playing rough and tumble with my foster brother (a Pitbull slightly larger than me), and cuddling on the couch watching tv. I sleep all night in my bed like a good girl, and I never wake my foster Mom up early on the weekends, even though I am always excited to get up and get my breakfast! My favorite toys include a stuffed tiger, Nylabones (there is a beef flavored one I am particularly in love with) and on occasion I like bouncy balls or Kongs. My foster mom says I must have been a really good momma when I was one, because every time there is a baby crying or puppies making noise on the tv, my ears perk up and I try to get behind the tv to find them and comfort them. I do really well with small humans and love playing with them on the floor, although sometimes I get so excited a jump up a bit so I may need you to teach me some boundaries. I also do really well on a leash, and only sometimes get confused on which side of you I should be walking on, however I promise to get really good at it if you take me on regular walks. I’ll be honest though, I don’t seem to like the heat as much as my foster brother, I’m a bit more of a princess and don’t seem to enjoy sleeping by the pool in the sun like he does. Ultimately, I am hoping to find my forever family so that we can enjoy long cuddles and wet kisses. 

FYI: you might notice my interesting looks. I was treated for demodex mange (not contagious) and am still waiting on a few hairs to grow back.  I have been given the all clear though, so I’m very excited about that!
