Bio: Eppie is a black with white, short hair, male kitten born approximately 6/1/18.

He was rescued from a feral colony in July 2018, where he was discovered living outside. He was evidently dropped off there as a 2-pound kitten.

Eppie can be a cuddly, affectionate kitten, but he can also become shy if there are sudden changes in his routines.  Eppie will need an adopter who can understand his shyness, and who is willing to work on building his trust. He’s still wary of sudden movements, but this will almost certainly improve as he learns and trusts.

Though Eppie can be cautious, he can also be a love bug and a purring cuddler. He enjoys the excitement of batting and chasing ping pong balls, and never seems to tire of tossing small, lightweight cat toys.

Eppie will do best in a quiet, calm home. He has had kitten room mates and did well with them.  When he has cat friends, though, he reaches out less to his human friends.  Because of that, we think he might do best as an only cat,  or with one cat friend.

If you are interested in adopting, please follow the instructions below to expedite your application:
    1. Fill out an online application available through our website (www.yolospca.org) or through this link: Online cat application form
    2. Please specify which animal you are requesting on the application by noting the "NAME" of the animal and the Internal ID.
    3. We will email or call you if we need more information; since we get many applications and are volunteers, we may not contact you immediately.  You may email yolospcafoster@gmail.com if you have additional questions.

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have are Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $90 for kittens or $60 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All of our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email yolospcafoster@gmail.com. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.

We are still accepting applications on this animal; we do remove the pets from our site once they are adopted.
