Gia My name is Gia. My sister, Morgan, and I were turned in to the shelter by our owner. We need new homes and new families. Both of us are terrified here in the shelter and are extremely stressed. Right now, we trust very few people and we prefer to remain in the same kennel...together. We draw strength and courage from one another. We are both black in color, females, and are about eight months of age. We are also very skittish, and will run from you if you approach too closely. I'm sure that with the passage of time we will calm down, especially if someone possessing compassion and understanding will spend time with us and teach us to trust and to love again. We might not be the easiest girls to love, accept, and work with, at least right away, but we do each deserve a chance. It might be best if we were pulled by a qualified foster family or a rescue group that is experienced in dealing with frightened dogs like us.
