Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, foster-based, 100% all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in North Carolina — over 4,000 lives saved since 2009.   We rescue cats and kittens from high kill shelters in rural North Carolina.

All of our cats and kittens are fulling vetted; we test for feline leukemia and FIV,  deworm, treat for fleas, vaccinate, spay or neuter, and microchip before finding these unwanted, helpless animals, permanent loving homes.

We are self-funded through adoption fees, donations, and fundraising events and have an annual budget of approximately $175,000.

Adoption events are held every weekend from 11:30 am - 3 pm.  We are proud to be a PetSmart Charities Adoption Partner and manage the PetSmart Adoption Centers in Wake Forest at 11835 Retail Drive and in Raleigh at Six Forks Station, 8825 Six Forks Road, and half-time at Capital Crossings, 2800 East Millbrook Road.

I am a Charlotte native with a southern attitude. You need a lady like me in your life, bless your heart. I am fun!  I love to jump into empty boxes…even ones where I have squeeze in. I was also first in my kitty cotillion class for toy mouse chasing. But don’t you worry, lovebug, I calm down at bedtime and just want to be near or on you. Obviously with my upbringing, I have impeccable litter box and scratching manners. I like kids of all ages, the elderly, other cats, dogs, and just about anyone who admires my southern charm.
