Currently our longest residents, Ash and Dante came to MHRR in February 2019 as owner surrenders. Dante is more socialized and Ash is the shy guy. They a bonded pair and are working on their social skills towards people. They will require a patient adopter who will work with them everyday. 

This pet is fostered in New Orleans, LA. MHRR asks a $30 adoption fee for guinea pigs, or $50 for a pair. Not all of our g-pigs are spayed/neutered, but can be done for an additional cost. 

Guinea pigs listed as two or three names are established pairs or trios and separation is not available unless indicated in the description.

Guinea pigs with hold by their name are not currently available for adoption due to a medical reason but will eventually be ready.

Guinea pigs with pending by their names are pending adoption but the adoption has not been finalized yet or they are on a trial run with an adopter.

The cage is the most important part of your pigs' environment so the roomier the better. Diet should be 80% high quality Timothy Hay (or Orchard Hay) and 20% high quality pellets/fresh veggies as well as fresh water daily. Guinea pigs are a social, herd animal and are healthier and happier in pairs or trios. 

MHRR is now offering pre-assembled 4x2 C&C (size is 28"x 56")  cages for $85.00. Accessories not included.
