    • Margot is a sweet-nature medium-hair black female cat. Margot loves to play with her foster family and the colorful string toy, she loves all toys. Margot came to YCSPCA very thin and in need of dental work. She was terribly scared and shy, her health was of great concern as she was just fur and bones. As she was nursed to health, her true personality blossomed. She was willing to meet with her cat and dog friends in her foster home and began to have full on conversations with her foster family. Margot has a very quiet soft chirp meow, she is not loud but immediately begins conversation as soon as her people become visible. She purrs easily and softly and her litter box manners are impeccable. Margot's fur has also become luxurious and shiny. She came in with dull and somewhat dirty fur, clearly a result of her near starvation. Once she got love and nutrition her fur filled in and the luster returned quickly. Her tail is still a little thin in the fur arena but it seems to just add to her charm. Margot gets so excited when her people scratch her head and neck, she leans in, purrs and will drool a little, which oddly is just adorable.  Margot had a thorough teeth cleaning which was very successful and she recovered entirely. She may need teeth cleaning regularly, 1 time every 1-3 years, but that will be determined by her vet. Given how poor her care was previously, it is likely another tooth cleaning will be needed in the future. For now, her mouth and teeth are in great shape and her general health is top notch. With a loving home and good care, Margot will thrive and her happiness and love will reward whoever the lucky person(s) who give this wonderful cat her forever home. Margot is the perfect companion, thoughtful and loving with a quirky chirp and silly personality that continues to develop as she discovers a comfortable life.
