This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, November 23rd from 12pm-4pm and  Sunday, November 24th from 11am-3pm or until adopted. We do approve folks ahead of time and give them the first opportunity to meet before the public. If you are interested in one of our dogs, we recommend filling out an application prior to the event to be considered.

Pumpkin Pie is an 18 month old Peke-Pom mix. He weighs 11lbs. He has a fluffy gorgeous coat. He is all happy to see the cooler weather. He was a rescue from the shelter. He was listed a stray. We don't know what his backstory was but his future is bright as his smile!

PP gets along with other dogs. He even met the grumpy senior (18 years) Chihuahua at his foster home who snapped at him several times and he just backed away and shrugged his shoulders and went on to try and find another friend. He has found many nice friends at his foster home and that makes him so happy. He is such a great option to go with another confident dog in his new home. He is slightly insecure with new people. But we wouldn't say he is shy. He's so sweet and loving. And he truly is friendly. He has a bit of an outgoing spirit once he finds his footing in new places.

PP takes food really well. He is not food aggressive at all. He doesn't care if he's sharing with another dog or over here taking food from his foster mom. He is very food motivated. 

PP gets along with the dog friendly cat.

PP is an option for a home that has had dog experience. If there are kids they need to be over the age of 8. Preference given to a home that has another dog. But will consider other applicants.
