Our chubby little puppies may have started life off humbly and alone but we have high expectations that this regal little family has a bright and beautiful future ahead.  Meet Ava!  One of beautiful Miss Dia's pups and brother to Elizabeth, Baron, Winston and Luther. Dia had no family to take care of her and she needed a safe place to tuck her puppies away to so she wiggled under an old porch and kept her babies safe from all the world's dangers in a little dirt hole she dug.  Rescue workers had to take apart the decking piece by piece very carefully to help Dia and the puppies out and into safety.  We knew Dia was a smart and special girl and she has been a wonderful momma!  All of the puppies are healthy and they will be 8 weeks on November 20th so we are looking for amazing forever homes for each of them.   Baron is the confident one and often can be found playing on his own with a toy.  Winston is fun and loves cuddles.  He will want to find a family that can give him lots of extra attention! Elizabeth is also confident and independent.  She is our alpha pup and the one that bosses her siblings around.  Ava is a smart little pup just like her mom.  She has always been the first to figure everything out.  Luther is shy but loves to cuddle.  Luther will need a home with a calm family and perhaps an alpha leader dog that can show him the ropes.  Each of the puppies are growing up so fast but are really catching on to going potty outside.  As a whole they seem to be playful yet calm and eager to please.  Everyone is up to date on vaccinations, wormed and micro-chipped.  Their adoption fee is $300.00 and they will require a spay/neuter deposit.  The puppies will be ready to go to their forever homes starting November 20th so if you are interested please head to our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to fill out the Dog Adoption Application
